I'm a new player, but from what I've read, Thrall was cool, they shouldn't have gotten rid of him... (from leadership, I mean)
Thrall wanted to solve everything via negotation and battling ONLY in extreme cases. Much to that, he paid respect to human race or any other race. Garrosh, as I said, treats the rest of Horde faction leaders (and others btw) like crap. Check out his talk vith Vol'jin. Reading more doesn't hurt ;-P
